My install is stuck — what do I do?

Check your database connection

The most common cause is a failed database connection. Confirm your environment variables match your database credentials exactly, with no typos.

Check network access

Some database providers (Supabase, MongoDB Atlas) require you to allowlist your IP under their network settings before a connection will succeed.

Re-run the installer

Go back to http://localhost:3000/installer and step through the wizard again. It's safe to re-run.
